Belgaum or officially known as Belagavi is a city in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. Belgaum is famous for the ancient Kapileshwara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Northwest is the pink-stone St. Mary’s Church, with carved Gothic arches and a teak-and-marble altar. Other popular temples are the Shani temple and the Maruti Temple.
